Magnet is a method for filtering and selecting docking results. This method was developed by Hanneke Jansen and Eric Martin at Chiron and has been reimplemented as a part of the DockIt ligand docking suite. Magnet is also available as a stand alone product for use with other docking programs. More information including online documentation is available.

Metaphorics, LLC has recently released the Cabinet (Chemical and Biological Informatics NETwork) servers, which are built upon the Daylight HTTP toolkit. Cabinet servers provide the ability to easily navigate, using a web browser, through diverse chemical and biological information sources and to explore the relationships between them. Each Cabinet server has the ability to query other Cabinet servers for related information. Similarity relationships which can be explored include chemical structure similarity, protein sequence similarity, similarities in enzyme function (via the Enzyme Commission classifications or via similarity in reaction type) as well as various textual links.

Our current Cabinet servers include Empath, a server for metabolic pathway information, Planet, a server for protein-ligand interaction information, WDI, a server for the World Drug Index from Derwent, TCM (from Ashgate Publishing) and DCM (from Paradigm Publications), servers for traditional Chinese medical information, Wombat, a server for published chemical and biological information from Sunset Molecular Discovery and various utility servers with other servers coming soon.
